The Nightwatchman (aka Tom Morello) had some ferocious folk stomping.
Dreamy pop from the furry Fleet Foxes.
The Decemberists have a guitar dual.
Billy Bragg brought the politics and a razor-sharp wit.
And Sam Beam - Iron and Wine - impressed the hell out of me. Infinitly better and more full-throated in person than on his great - but whispery - albums, he was a stunner solo on stage.
Besides that, he's damn good looking.
